THE NAME MILKRUN

MilkRun: in logistics, a round trip that facilitates either distribution or collection of goods. It ensures that that minimum distance is travelled and to meet both the demand requirement and effective transportation with least cost.

ABOUT MILKRUN

We are a marketplace for small and mid-sized producers can sell their products directly to local Eaters and Wholesale buyers.

We coordinate the delivery weekly of orders directly to customers' homes. Our goal is to improve efficiencies of local food distribution which allows us to minimize the repackaging, storage and handling of our products.

Most products are delivered within 24 hours of receiving them from producers. Products like bread are baked to order and are straight from the oven.

OUR STORY

After experiencing what it was like to start a farm, our founder designed the kind of marketplace and distribution system she needed. A more efficient and profitable way to sell locally produced goods directly to customers and Chefs in the city.

We have pulled together a community and team dedicated to creating more transparent and efficient food system.

This is only the beginning of our journey starting in the Pacific Northwest with plans to expand nationwide, we invite you to join us in growing the impact of local food systems everywhere.
