WHAT WE DO:
After culinary school at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and later working in the restaurant industry, Jeff Gardner realized that he had an affinity for Italian cuisine. He decided to go straight to the source--Italy where he studied at ItalCook, a slow food sponsored culinary school on the Adriatic coast. His travels left him hungry to learn more about pasta, in May of 2014 he began selling whole grain pasta that was grown, milled and made locally at the Land County Farmers Market in Eugene. He developed the pasta recipes alongside the miller, Camas Country Mill (all organic, grown and milled in the Willamette Valley) who offered feedback on how to improve the flours to make a better product. Using stone ground flour, the slow-dried pasta retains more B vitamins and it's natural fiber, making a healthier, tastier pasta. With no preservatives, artificial flavors or colors, and GMO free, Jeff is committed to bringing the Slow Food Movement to your doorstep.
